The Department

Radiology is the use of x-rays to produce images for interpretation and diagnosis of diseases of anatomical structures and organs. Imaging is the bedrock of Clinical Medicine.

The impact of diagnostic radiology has been outstandingly phenomenal.

In addition, the Oncology and Radiotherapy Unit deals with the study and treatment of Cancer with cytotoxic drugs and ionising radiation.

Attendance Policy

  1. Students are required to complete Log Books which are signed by their lecturers to reflect their attendance at lectures and procedures or practical demonstrations. At least 75% attendance is required before students are allowed to sit for the End-of-Course Examination.
