Orientates her New 200- level Students for 2017/2018 Session
As part of her activities in producing Health Care Professionals in the State, LASUCOM has organised an orientation programme for her new 200 level Students for 2017/2018 academic session on Thursday 1st February, 2018, at the College Auditorium inside the College premises in Ikeja. These new 200 level students include Medical, Dental, Nursing and |Physiology intakes, who had gone through their 100 level programmes at the University (LASU) Main Campus at Ojo. LASUCOM
Welcoming the students to LASUCOM Ikeja, the Acting Provost, Prof. Anthonia Ogbera admonishes them to be focused in order to excel in their chosen professions. She went further to inform the students about the vision and mission statement of the College i.e. to be the leading College of Medicine in Africa. Prof. Ogbera also pleaded with these new set of students to exercise patience with the management on the issue of inadequate hostel space, promising that succour would soon be provided by the government.
During this orientation programmes, the Acting Provost was also supported by other members of the College executive who corroborated the acting Provost position in advising the new Students to read, read and read because there is no shortcut to success in LASUCOM except they (new students) study well and excel both in their academics and characters.
This orientation programme which started on Thursday 1st February, 2018 will end on Monday 5th February, 2018, after which these Students would have gone through Laboratory orientation on Friday 2nd and Library orientation on Monday 5th February, 2018.
