I obtained Dental Surgery Education from the University of Ife now OAU (1976-1983). my postgraduate training from University of Sheffield, UK (1994-1995) with a Master of Medical Science (Restorative Dentistry). Further studies for my Fellowship degree from the National Postgraduate college, Luth, Idi-Araba (1997) and became also a Fellow of the West African College of Surgeons in 2007. My skills include Aesthetic Dentistry, Crown and Bridge work, Endodontics, Implants. I am a senior lecturer/consultant Restorative Dentist and an Ag. HOD of the department Restorative Dentistry.

Research Interests/Specialisations

My research focus is based on prevention, early detection of cavitated teeth, pupally involved teeth, toothwear, management of toothloss and improving the quality of lives of affected patients. My major emphasis are as follow; 1. Early detection of dental caries prior to frank cavitation so as to institute preventive and maintenance measures to achieve good oral hygiene and healthy teeth. 2. Management and restoration of carious teeth, teeth suffering from toothwear, removal of infected pulp and restoration of form and function of affected teeth. 3. Contributions to oral health policy making, budgeting and recommendation of quality and durable dental materials for ease of restoration, cost effectiveness and time management.
