Dr Yemisi Kila, a Consultant Anatomic Pathologist and lecturer at Lagos State University College of Medicine, has pioneered excellence in healthcare leadership, healthcare policy and clinical research for over a decade. She holds a BSc (Second class upper) in Biochemistry, MBBS, FMCPath and a Certificate in Leadership & Management in Health. Dr Kila was the class valedictorian of the pioneer class at the Lagos State University Medical School. She was awarded the best female house officer during her internship training and a certificate of distinction during her National Youth Service Year. She also served as the Chief Resident during her residency training. She is a member of the United States & Canadian Academy of Pathology, West African Division of International Academy of Pathology, International Society of Gynecological Pathology, Fellow of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria, College of Nigerian Pathology, Medical Women Association of Nigeria, and Nigeria Medical Association.
