The Faculty of Basic Clinical Sciences was established in July 2018 in compliance with the new guideline from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN). The Faculty was disaggregated from the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences as a pre-requisite for the accreditation of the MB;BS Programme by the Council.
The Faculty of Basic Clinical Sciences consists of the following Departments;
1).Pharmacology, Therapeutic & Toxicology (2).Pathology and Forensic Medicine (3).Haematology and Blood Transfusion ( 4).Medical Microbiology & Parasitology (5).Chemical Pathology
