The Directorate of Research Management and Innovation, Lagos State University, Ojo, under the leadership of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Ibilola Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM is set to hold the 6th LASU Research and Innovation Fair on Tuesday, 8th and Wednesday, 9th October 2024 at the Aderemi Makanjuola Lecture Theatre Hall, LASU main campus, Ojo.

Participants wishing to have their ABSTRACTS published are kindly requested to make payment, register, and submit their abstracts via the underlisted official 6th LASU Research Fair Website ON or BEFORE Friday, 30th August 2024. This will assist the Central Planning Committee in ensuring a successful research fair.

Theme: ‘Emerging Technologies, Research & Innovation: Trends, Threats and Considerations’.

Sub-Themes:
1. ‘Contemporary Ethical Issues in Research and Innovation’.
2. ‘Research and Innovation for Economic Transformation’.
3. ‘The Role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Research Development and Innovation’.

Submission of Abstract:

Interested persons are to submit a one-page abstract of NOT MORE THAN 300 words on the theme and sub-themes in MS Word document format (size: 12 font, Times New Roman, spacing: single line) ONLY on:

Abstracts for submission SHOULD BE STRUCTURED into: objectives, methods, results, and conclusion.

After payment is made, participants should take the underlisted steps to register on the portal to upload their receipt.

3: Complete the form and upload payment receipt.

4:The receipt uploaded would be verified.

5: After verification, an e-mail will be sent to the participant; a message of approval of payment, which also grants access to upload abstract and complete the registration process.

6: Once the registration is completed, the participant should forward the payment receipt via an email to the Directorate of Research Management & Innovation e-mail address: lasuresearchfair6@lasu.edu.ng
