Dr. Raphael Galleh, a distinguished Teaching Fellow from the School of Biosciences, Aston University, Birmingham, United Kingdom visited the College on Wednesday 21st of August 2024 to deliver a Key Lecture.

The lecture serves as part of an African engagement strategy to collaborate with partner institutions in the Continent on areas such as joint research, knowledge sharing and progression opportunity.

Dr. Galleh’s visit highlights the commitment of the College to embracing Collaborative propositions, building strong and mutually beneficial relationships with academic institutions across the globe.

Through such initiatives, the aim is to address pressing health challenges and contribute to the global scientific community by leveraging the unique strengths and perspectives of African researchers.

The lecture, which focused on the Microbiology, Immunology and Biofilm formation, was well-received by students and faculty and optimistically marks the beginning of a series of engagements intended to solidify ties with Aston University, Birmingham and ensuring a sustainable and impactful partnership.
