Academic Background, Trainings, Skills, Positions, Teaching, Achievements (in Summary).

I obtained my MBBS in 2006 from LASU, and M.Sc. in Anatomy from the University of Lagos in 2009. I did my residency training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with the Lagos State University Teaching hospital (LASUTH) and obtained my Fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, FMCOG and FWACS in 2015 and 2016 respectively. I was a Lecturer II in the Department of Anatomy, Lagos State University College of Medicine (LASUCOM) from 2007-2009 before proceeding for specialization. I am currently a Lecturer 1/Honorary consultant in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, LASUCOM/LASUTH appointed in 2016. I have passed my Part 2 RCOG Membership exams (2019) with part 3 in view. I am involved with teaching and examination of 500L medical students in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and in the supervision of their clinical rotations. I am also involved with the training and supervision of residents in training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Research Interests/Specialisations

Maternal-Fetal Medicine (High risk pregnancies), and Women’s reproductive health with focus on infertility, Uterine fibroids and contraception.
