I had my undergraduate studies at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka(UNN). I had distinctions in Biochemistry, Physiology and Pathology. My post-graduate study was at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital(UNTH), Enugu, where we separated the first surviving Siamese twins in 1988. I qualified as a Paediatric surgeon. I worked in Lagos in the private health sector for 19 years before joining LASUCOM as a Lecturer 1 in 2007. I am currently an Associate Professor of Paediatric Surgery with a special interest in the early diagnosis of Wilms’ tumour in our environment.
